PRIMARY RACE REMOVAL

Jerry on the HTT forum illustrated an alternate method of removing the Primary Inner Race.  I like it much more than my "grinding it away" method.  Jerry gave me permission to put his method in my DD6 installation website.  Scroll down for pictures and instructions.

Inner race has "walked" up against the output shaft.

Grind a groove around the circumference of the race.  Don't go so deep as to grind into the input shaft.

Use a Clamshell type bearing removal tool seated into the groove.  Squirt a little penetrating oil between the race and its shaft and then pull the race off the shaft.
