Alternator Rotor Removal
Previous | Home | NextI wanted to check the stator for burning or discoloration while in the primary so I went ahead and removed the rotor using an automotive timing gear puller. It worked really well and reduces the chance of pinching fingers under the pull of the powerful magnets or damaging the rotor. I protected the shaft threads with tape.
