Baker DD-6 Gearset Installation
Previous | Home | NextThis is really exciting now. I'm doing a dry fit of the gearset to make sure that none of the gears touch the inside of the transmission case. For this, I am not using a gasket. Notice that I've already inserted the shifter pawl/shaft assembly. My plan is to put it all together and spin, listening/feeling for any signs of rubbing or interference. Mine had none. I understand that some do and the inside of the case must be relieved (aluminum removed) to eliminate the interference.
